Old-Time Florida Shrimp Recipe |

Seafood Recipes |
Seafood is always healthy to eat and easy to prepare. I
wouldn't classify this recipe as very healthy, but it sure is
good. Because you never want to overcook seafood, it is a fast
recipe to prepare. Personally I love shrimp because of the
texture and flavor. This is an old-time Florida recipe and is
good served with wild rice and vegetable (I like Broccoli).
The Ingredients for 2 servings:
3/4 to 1 - pound of raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 - tbsp. of butter
1/2 - teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 - Clove of garlic, minced
1 - tbsp. chopped chives
1 - tbsp. parsley flakes
1/8 - teaspoon of sea salt
1/8 - fresh ground black pepper
1/4 - cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 - cup dry Italian bread crumbs
Preparation:
Melt butter in medium skillet; add shrimp, Worcestershire,
garlic, chives, parsley, salt and pepper. Sauté for about 4-5
minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stir mixture while cooking.
Transfer shrimp into a casserole dish, sprinkle bread crumbs
and parmesan cheese on top of shrimp. Pour butter mixture over
all shrimp and bake @ 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes, until
golden brown.
Serve on top of rice with vegetable and a wedge of lemon. Now
that is old-time Florida good eating. I think I know what I'm
cooking up tomorrow.
