How many of you get unexpected company? If you’re like me people drop in to say hi on a moment’s notice. This recipe is one that is delicious and your company will think that you have slaved for hours preparing it. It's simple, easy and tastes great especially with a glass of Wine while you enjoy your visitors.

INGREDIENTS:


1) One pound of maple bacon
2) One box of dates
3) Box of toothpicks

Preparation:

Wrap a half piece of bacon around each date and secure with a toothpick.

Put on cookie sheet and place in oven on broil. Cook until bacon looks crispy. Drain on paper towel and serve.

You will be in for a real surprise when you taste the sweet date with the salty bacon a real treat to savor.
